The Tropic Rot is bar far the best Poison The Well album to date. It sounds incredible. Its more BROOTAL is a subtle way. Gone is the chugging break downs replaced by in your face subtle intensity. Take the feeling you got when you first heard Nerdy and add the production value of You Come Before You. Every element you have grown to love about this band is back with a slight twist. You will find yourself bobbing your head to the beat then beating one your steering wheel a second later. This is the first time in a long time I have listened to an entire album from track one all the way through. The vocals are more impressive then ever. A lot of people have complained about the vocal style of Jeffrey Moreira since he switched it up you will not leave you disappointed in the slightest. If you are reading this thinking PTW wrote the most pussy album to date you’re an idiot. Its one Of my top 5 as of now and it might be a while for that to change. In the end The Tropic Rot is 47 minutes of amazing music. If you have taken some time off from this band now is the time to lace up those old Sauconys and get back into these dudes.
